New adventures and next steps
Hello Good People.
I have big news. I have decided to accept a position that I am VERY excited about, but I can't disclose it quite yet. I also have a call to action for you if you’ve enjoyed my resources and want to continue in your learning journey.
Because this new position requires that I focus entirely on it, I will be winding down Do Your Good by the end of this year. But I want to make sure you have access to my resources as well as updated ones to help you change the world for the better.
So that you keep getting the best fundraising and nonprofit resources out there, Do Your Good will meld into The Nonprofit Fixer, run by my good friend and colleague, Sean Kosofsky. Sean is a stellar nonprofit leader, consultant, and fundraising expert. He was my first podcast guest and my last one too! He is in the process of creating a special page on his site that has my free resources, which include my short video course to give well, and a second course to hone your fundraising pitch. You can also continue to find all my resources here on my website, which I will keep available for you in the near-term.
He’ll be the steward of my resources (while sharing many of his own!) when I move to my new job and am no longer able to make new materials for you on my own.
Here’s what this means for you:
1) For the time being (and hopefully forever), you can still find my podcast episodes and blog posts through your favorite podcast streaming platforms and you can access some of the most popular interviews here on my site.
2) I would love for you to proactively sign up for Sean’s email updates or download one of his many free tools here.
I know he’ll provide you with high quality information that is widely respected in the nonprofit field. He is the perfect partner because we share the same values and ideology, and I know he cares about your well being.
3) Please listen to my final podcast (link below) to learn more about the transition.
I have so, so, so loved this adventure, and I am so happy to have created this powerful business that has delivered so much value to the field. I hope you agree!
If we know each other, find me on my personal Linkedin page as well.
Thank you all for your support. I will miss you.
Do your good and be well,
Sybil
